Name of Post and Eligibility Criteria:
On successful completion of 4 years of the course (Training), cadets will be granted Permanent Commission in the Army in the rank of Lt.
The cost of training will be Rs. 13,940/- will be borne by the state; but will be recovered from candidates withdrawing from course in midway for any personal reasons.

How to Apply / Form Filling & Application Process:
The process of filling the online application form is given below:
Stage #1: Visit website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in and click on ‘online application’
Stage #2: Enter the details fill the form and before submission check Terms and Conditions carefully. After 30 mins of closing date all candidates will be allotted with Roll Number.
Stage #3: Take 2 Printouts of the application form with Roll Number on it. One of this copy should be taken by the candidate to the SSB Interview.
Stage #4: Take 2 Printouts of the application form with Roll Number on it. One of this copy should be taken by the candidate to the SSB Interview. The following documents are also required along with the application copy:
- 10th Marksheet and Certificate in Original (and 2 photocopies for submission)
- 12th Marksheet and Certificate in Original (and 2 photocopies for submission)
- ID Proof in Original (and 2 photocopies for submission)
- JEE Mains Result 2023 (and 2 photocopies for submission)
- 20 copies of PP size Photographs
Before applying candidates are required to check the eligibility, and other details on official website or Notification.
Important Notes:
- Multiple applications from the same candidate will lead to cancellation of candidature.
- The application will be screened at Directorate General of Recruiting, Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Army) and the candidate thereafter will be detailed for SSB.
- 10th and 12th Marksheet from State Board/CBSE/ICSE is required which should have Date of Birth printed. No other proof like Admit Card/Marksheet/Leaving certificate will be accepted for proof of Date of Birth.
- Print out of Online application along with 2 sets of photocopies of 10th and 12th marksheets and certificates are required along with photo copies of JEE Mains Result 2023.
- While filling up the application form, enter exact PCM percentage of Class 12th upto two decimals and are not to be rounded off.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed to undergo SSB interview tentatively to be scheduled from Feb/Mar 2024 onwards.
General Instructions:
- Candidates will be put through two stage selection procedure. Those who clear Stage I will go to Stage II.
- Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit, will be issued Joining Letter for training in the order of merit, depending on the number of vacancies available, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.
